Gabriela seeks out Tomás to ask him to help her free her sister Eva, but he refuses and asks her to continue the judicial process. Leonor warns Miriam to stay away from Juan Pedro or she will end up like Eva, in jail. Tomás realizes that Eva is imprisoned because of Leonor and asks for Gabriela's help to find the truth.
