Edgar visits Jezabel at her house to inform her that he already knows where ‘El Pintas’ lives and warns her that Demián suspects that there has been a relationship between her and Juventino before. Aurora begs Demián not to worsen Ángel’s legal situation, he assures her that he is willing to prove her wrong. Demián assures Ángel that the only thing he will do is wipe out his entire family and unfortunately Anita will be left an orphan, since the authorities will not give custody to a criminal. Damián offers Ángel a significant sum of money to save his mother’s life, but in exchange he asks him to leave the path clear for him with Helena.
