Demián is sure that his mother and Edgar are accomplices in the story that they made Aurora believe that her son Gabriel lost his life. Aurora asks Julio César to process a court order to exhume her son's remains and thus perform the corresponding DNA tests. Jezabel gives Juventino a significant sum of money to get Ángel Santos out of her way; he suspects that he is his supposed son and asks for double the money. Jezabel makes Aurora doubt whether she really wants to go to Las Flores with Julio César, since she is sure that there is something inside her that does not want to be away from Antonio.
