Nils Erdel, a conspiracy theorist, is convinced that Bielefeld, the friendly city in the Teutoburg Forest, does not exist. Inspired by the idea of providing the ultimate proof of their non-existence, he sets off for the supposed city. Since then he has been persecuted by a man Wilsberg is supposed to protect him from. Erdel is scared to death.
