For smugglers, Tor is a safe route, but not a free one. The two bosses, Sansa and Palanca, charge a fee to let them pass through their properties. They act through their mossos, armed with guns and with the power to decide, like Miquel Aguilera. A situation that generates a lot of tension, especially with those who go on their own and do not accept the treatment. For this reason, it is not discarded the implication in the death of Sansa.
