An exploration of the rift between two former nuns -- Barbara Ferraro and Patricia Hussey -- and the predominantly male Catholic hierarchy centers on the abortion controversy. The fight also includes the ordination of women as priests and the rights of Catholics to dissent from official church teachings. These two women have written a book called "No Turning Back" and are the co-directiors of Covenant House in Charleston, West Virginia, a social services agency.
