On the Isles, there are more single men to women than almost anywhere else in Britain. At the Seven Stones pub, Toby the landlord has found a girlfriend. Bishop Bill arrives to support a campaign to improve the island childrens' prospects. After a troubled year, a christening brings a new sense of optimism to the islanders.
