Majda leaves Edo and soon realizes that she too has been a victim of lies and manipulation. Money changes the people around Nika, as friends overnight turn into deadly enemies. Nika and Borut make progress in the case of Tomaž Ogrin from twenty‑seven years ago. The data they uncover contains too many coincidences, motivating them to continue. Majda experiences an awakening and goes on a visit that should have happened many years earlier. Meanwhile, Edo increases the pressure on Mir, who realizes he must change his tactics. He shifts from defense to attack and finally does things he should have done nearly three decades ago.
