John visits the Ruby Mountains in Elko County where he goes to Lamoille Canyon with Joe from the Nevada Department of Wildlife. From there Joe takes John to fish Angel Lake, a high-altitude glacier lake. John returns to Lamoille Canyon and hikes the area. Here, John meets up with a photographer and author whose focus is rural Nevada.
