Steve's fiancée Jolien's legally dead ex, Bart Geeraerts, is spotted after being missing for six years, so the wedding is delayed. Nick has been cleared by IA and returns on the job, albeit under drug supervision. he stills braves Coppens's instructions by telling Steve, who informs Jolien, but she's kidnapped soon after. Nick and Steve investigate, although the team is officially off the case, discovering not only Bart's fake Brazilian identity but also he must be entangled in dirty cops' organized drug crime.
