On February 6th, at 4 a.m. this area in south-eastern Türkiye was hit by a series of earthquakes. The most powerful one was a 7.8-magnitude earthquake that is now confirmed to be the deadliest quake of all time to ever hit the country. It took thousands of lives in a matter of seconds, leaving tens of thousands shelterless. This is Alexandra Sabynina for The People project reporting from Türkiye.
