After meeting in Capetown, South Africa eleven years ago, Cobus and Jaco have been inseparable ever since. Now, they've decided to follow their longtime dream of an active lifestyle biking and walking alongside Amsterdam's famous canals. But with Cobus being a 'head in the clouds' idealist whilst Jaco is a pragmatist with a keen eye on the budget, they clash from the onset. With a separate mortgage in addition to the new renovation project, Jaco knows they have little room for error and delay. As the renovation gets underway, however, the combination of expensive unforeseen problems and Cobus' extravagant dreams are driving Jaco, and his budget, crazy—and threatens to leave them out of money with an unfinished house.
