Inspired by a family's love of the outdoors and their urban home's lakeside setting Candice uses a Natural Design approach to transform their walkout basement space. The real challenge is that the room must serve as a mudroom, family room and satellite kitchen to handle holiday overflow and summer barbeques. Choosing from a natural palette of colours and materials Candice shows how to make a functional space beautiful by simply going back to nature.
