Kings and Generals animated historical animated documentary series on the Ottoman Wars continues with the second video in the mini-series on the Long Turkish War. In the aftermath of the battle of Calugareni of 1595, the Ottoman empire is on the back foot in its war against a wide European alliance, but the battle of Mezokeresztes of 1596 would show that the sultans are still strong enough to enforce their will. This episode will describe the continued Austro-Turkish struggle for the Romanian principalities of Wallachia, Transylvania and Moldavia, and the battles of Selimbar and Miraslau at the tail end of the Long Turkish War.
