In ZOOMsci, Kyle and Nick use paper chromatography to determine who wrote a secret message. And in ZOOMplayhouse, the ZOOMers love the Mystery Drink. But what's in it? EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES: Through devising an experiment, the science segment encourages problem solving, testing hypotheses and analyzing data. The segment offers an exploration of chromatography and describes the forces of adhesion and cohesion. The ZOOM Into Action segment encourages volunteerism and community service.
