After the arrest of her sister’s killer, Lucy returns to her hometown. Meanwhile, in Moscow, the little granddaughter of the head of the department, in which Potapov serves, is kidnapped. All the police are on their feet, but there are no clues. The boss in desperation orders to bring Lucy to the cause. Potapov is in a quiet rage: he, an experienced detective, is imposed on a madwoman who does not understand anything in operational work.
