On the night of October 2, 2014, Thiago would return from the sweet and savory tasting to the wedding party that would take place that year. The young man, who was accompanied by his mother, was approached by three criminals as he parked the vehicle in the garage. He even handed the car key to one of the criminals, yet he was shot in the abdomen and died shortly afterwards in the hospital.
