The Kings and Generals animated historical documentary series on the Normans and their conquests in the Mediterranean concludes with a video on the emergence of the kingdom of Sicily with the coronation of Roger II of the house of Hauteville, his struggle against the Papacy and the Holy Roman Empire. This video will also cover the multicultural aspect of the Norman kingdom, as local Greeks, Latins, Arabs and others managed to create a vibrant society on the crossroads of the Mediterranean Sea, the conquest of North Africa by the Normans and the end of their rule.
