Gurik apologizes to Terá. Amat and Iafa are attacked. Nadi is revolted by the attack on Amat. Nidana is firm with her husband. Danina is irritated to learn of Nidana's change. Lugali makes up an excuse for not being discovered. He is observed by Lucifer. Annoyed, King Ibbi-Sim gets ready for the ceremony. Iafa explains to Amat what the ritual of humiliating the king is, while Ibbi-Sim suffers at the hand of the high priest. Lamassi alerts Terá about Lugali. Danina says she suspects Nidana. Ibbi-Sim returns from the ritual, angry and red-faced. She will have prospered in business and is getting ready to return to Ur. Danina has a fight with Nidana. Hasabia separates the fight and leaves Nidana in a tight skirt. Queen Enlila places an order with a witch. Sneaky and armed, Lugali invades Terá's tent.
