Meiling receives news that her mother wants her to return home to Hong Kong. Devastated, particularly by Syaoran's reaction, Sakura abruptly invites Meiling to a sleepover. Meiling reveals how she and Syaoran grew up together, and she forced him into their engagement, but on the condition that if he fell in love with someone else, she would end the agreement. The Twin Card appears in town, replicating things.
