While travelling to Jerusalem, Jess is chased by a group of Roman soldiers. In an attempt to hide, he stumbles into a wedding in Cana where he meets Jesus, who suggests that Jess should follow him as a disciple. But Jess remains working as a gardener and soon discovers that there are more potent ways to change society and that words are more effective than weapons.
