A young designer who garnered attention with a single pair of sneakers and participated in the Paris Collection to launch his career is making his Tokyo runway debut after six years. Shinya Yamaguchi began as a shoe designer, making shoes in his home and selling them online. In 2012, he added clothes to the line, but his creation process still begins with shoes.
