This 1970s family room with a chunky rock fireplace and wood paneling is transformed with eco-friendly modern wall panels and a sleek stone and concrete fireplace that doubles as a bench. The adjoining living room is tied in as the wall between them becomes custom sliding pocket doors, with silver hardwood floors leading from one room to the next. A ceiling-mounted TV tops it off with a custom recycled aluminum entertainment center.
