It's highly probable that Manami came to Beppu to see her ex-boyfriend Hayami Hiroyuki. Fortunately Kogoro is able to find Manami, and the president Nakadai, secretary Hosogai, and fiance Ehara all come to Beppu, but Manami is kidnapped.
