When the Bunkum and Ballyhoo Circus arrives in town, Big Bird eagerly gathers friends to audition their unique acts for P. T. Bunkum. Maria, Luis, Gordon, and Olivia try their luck juggling, performing tricks, and more, but Bunkum finds their acts too ordinary for his circus. As the auditions go on, animated and musical interludes offer lighthearted fun, including Biff's rendition of "This Is My J," a magical painting that Grover interacts with, and comedic skits with Ernie and Bert. The episode culminates with Bunkum's disappointment in not finding a unique act until Big Bird, riding off on his unicycle, catches his eye. As the episode wraps, Big Bird seems destined to be the newest star of the circus, leaving the residents of Sesame Street excited about his potential adventure.
