The two establish a rapport based on mutual respect and affection; this friendship has a lasting effect on the boy child’s psyche. Worried by Mowgli’s disappearance, the wolf pack, Bagheera, and Baloo decide to set out on a search. They then arrive on the scene just in time to save the boy and his newfound friend from the red dogs.
