A young schoolgirl called Debbie wonders into an old curiosity shop. There, she stumbles on a game called "Wonders in Letterland", which, to her surprise, comes alive. Befriending the game's inhabitants, Debbie soon learns of the evil witch T-Bag, and soon finds herself charged with locating a series of missing letters....

Debbie must learn the name of a guard in order to advance to the next stage of her quest...

Debbie and T-Shirt arrive in the land of V, where they come face to face with a vampire, and T-Shirt feels the power of the sleeping violets. T-Bag takes action and disguises herself as T-Shirt in a bid to seize Debbie's letters...

Debbie helps the elderly Fife O'Clock get his clock working again...

T-Bag, Debbie and T-Shirt arrive in the final zone of the Letterland game, where they must make a melancholy emperor laugh in order to attain his gold necklace..
