Reality Sets In

Laney and Clarence are having worse luck in their personal lives than they are in their barely existent show business careers. They meet for lunch to discuss their mutual "issues". Clarence thinks his marriage is on the rocks while Laney has a flirtations moment with a handsome waiter.

Clarence spirals into depression after his wife leaves him and Laney can't get a meeting with her own agent. Laney's niece Alicia suggests she consider becoming a participant on a reality show as a potential boost to her career.

Clarence and Laney contemplate different approaches to romantic interludes.

Laney drags Clarence along to meet the producers of the reality show, "Love: Take Two". The meeting takes several strange turns when they get a glimpse of what their lives might be like on a reality show.

Laney realizes her "reality" is not anything she wants to share with the world and decides to back out of the show despite everyone's protests. Clarence finally kisses a girl.
