In the opener, Laurie's mother worries about letting her daughter become a model; and Taryn may lose a cosmetics contract owing to her prima-donna attitude and her demanding mother's behavior. Meanwhile, businessman David Fenton looks for a new face to save his floundering sportswear company, and his wife frets that no one will hire a 30-year old model.
