New series. Kay Mellor drama about the lives and loves of the staff of Greater Leeds Register Office. It's a big day for senior registrar Kate Dickenson - her promotion to superintendent is about to be announced and she knows not everyone will be happy with the news. But even she is not prepared for what happens when her colleague James makes an impromptu announcement of his own. At home, Kate is alarmed to discover her daughter is hiding suspicious messages on her mobile, while the unexpected appearance of her stepson puts her relationship with partner Rob under pressure.
