After learning recent rumors, the Shinsengumi prepare to send Chizuru to Shimabara for a top secret spy mission. Unfortunately, Souji, with his worsening illness, must remain bedridden during all the excitement.

While Chizuru infiltrates Shimabara under the guise of a geisha, Hajime Saito and Susumu Yamazaki remain nearby to guard her. Their help ends up being needed.
