The 12 families step into the kitchen for the first time, but discover that there is only room for half of them in the competition. In this first stage of the selection, 6 of the 12 teams compete in 2 challenges to win a spot in the game, showing the best of their cuisine. After a presentation banquet and the responsibility to reproduce the dish of one of the judges, only 3 families qualify.

In the second selection stage, the 6 families who did not cook in the previous episode face off in the dispute for the last 3 spots in the competition. To prove they deserve a place in the game, they must prepare a feast with the best of their culinary traditions and then cook the favorite dish of a very special guest.

With 6 families classified, the competition officially starts. To open the work, teams are challenged to prepare a meal for a famous TV presenter. Then, the first advantage of the season is disputed with a classic of Brazilian cuisine: coxinha.

Our kitchen is the scene of a very popular tradition on family weekends: the barbecue. And after a real feast, the fridge is always full. Therefore, participants are challenged to create new and delicious dishes to give different face and flavor to stored food. The worst performing family is eliminated.

When a country duo arrives in the kitchen, families need to prepare a meal inspired by country food. In the elimination challenge, participants have an extra difficulty: following the instructions and reproducing a lemon pie exactly like the original in a relay scheme.

Bar food is the theme of the first challenge, which brings guests as special as they are demanding into the kitchen. In the elimination test, families go shopping to prepare a typical Sunday lunch. Whoever has the worst performance returns home and only 3 teams remain in the competition.

The 3 eliminated families get a new chance and face off in the dispute for the only place available to return to the program. During the two challenges, your culinary skills are put to the test with both unusual dishes and a Brazilian classic, as to conquer this unique opportunity you need to show talent and versatility.
