Amy thinks her mom Sandy needs a clutter intervention. For years, Sandy has been taking home other people's trash, accumulating clutter that's totally spiraled out of control. Her hoarding habits started when her kids' father passed away 10 years ago. Instead of dealing with her grief, Sandy has masked her pain by trying to fill the void with stuff. Amy is also dealing with her own loss and needs her mom's emotional support, but instead, the two are constantly fighting over the clutter.
