Arjun assures Indradev that he will protect the snakes and name the capital as Indraprastha. The snakes revive Yudhishthir's people. Agnidev blesses Arjun with a bow, Gandiv. At Hastinapur, Shakuni and Duryodhan decide to stop their citizens from going to Yudhishthir's kingdom.
