The Aji Shogun Group, intent on disrupting the Aji Kou Culinary Association and bringing down Aji Kou, spreads rumors of Aji Kou's retirement. In response, Aji Kou holds the "Aji Kou Culinary Association Chef Grand Prix" to strengthen unity within the association and encourage the chefs to work harder. Chef Marui encourages Yoichi to participate, but Yoichi, worried about his future, is hesitant.
