Seong-jun finds Su-cheol's photo on Gyeol's desk and asks about his biological father. Not long after, guests arrive at Kang-su's house for the living funeral. However, as Kang-su's health suddenly deteriorates, Yeong-hwa and Yeon-ja attempt to cancel the event. Insisting it go on, Kang-su gathers his remaining strength to step outside. He then delivers a deeply moving farewell to the people who came to see him.
