The investigation into the murder of Andrea Smits takes an unexpected turn when the main suspect is found murdered. Moreover, Juliet clashes in the case with her lover Sam, who, as a lawyer for one of the people involved, is diametrically opposed to the investigators. When she also crosses an ethical boundary during the investigation, Juliet also antagonizes Jamal. Meanwhile, Chloë tries to find the courage to confess her secret to Juliet.
