Salvador approaches Cristina to give her good news: his search is over and he has finally found her daughter. He then reveals that this daughter is, in fact, herself. Upon discovering the identity of Carolina's daughter, Romina doesn't hesitate to reveal the truth to Carlos, leaving him surprised by all that this revelation implies. Salvador, upon revealing to Cristina that he is her father, asks her to go with an open mind to meet her mother. For Cristina, it is a great surprise to discover that it is Carolina Guillén. Carolina is devastated after Cristina's harsh words, after she reveals herself to be her mother. Cristina, angry, rejects her and considers her the worst person she has ever met.
