Sílvia Alberto meets Joana de Verona this week at the Maria Matos Theater for a very special conversation. Taking as a starting point "Família Ventura," which RTP will present to the Portuguese this Christmas, the actress takes us on a journey through various parts of the world to recount episodes of a transatlantic journey. Born in Northeast Brazil, she then moved to the Amazon, France, Trás-os-Montes, Ribatejo, Alentejo, Lisbon, Berlin, and Paris, and she's never stopping, as she explains: "What I think is important is this idea of being in transit and not necessarily being tied to one place." The daughter of a primary school teacher with a flair for painting and an economist with a flair for writing, Joana de Verona has established work in film, theater, and television, and is part of a world that never stops.
