Celebrating 10 years of HMB, Héber Marques is at Sociedade Recreativa this week. The composer and vocalist welcomes Sílvia Alberto to the "Comunidade Cristã de Lisboa" (Christian Community of Lisbon) space, which is both a church and a rehearsal and affectionate space. He admits that, especially in its early stages, the band may have been "neglected" in some situations for professing a faith, but talent and positive energy ultimately dictated the success of their music. A father of two, Héber has no doubt that all the effort to balance family with HMB's career has been worth it: "We fought so hard to get here, to start seeing these beautiful things happen."
