Lawyer Viviana, upon discovering that the Robles sisters have switched identities, threatens to drop the case if Carolina doesn't return to town immediately. Worried, Celeste contacts her sister to tell her of the lawyer's plans, but Carolina begs her to stay in town for a few more days. During dinner with Gloria, Father Gabriel confesses that his passion for Spain was born from his dream of becoming a bullfighter. Gloria, laughing, doesn't hesitate to mock him and assures him that he is undoubtedly an expert in pasodoble dancing. Manuel manages to convince Gloria that her true place is not in politics. With all her heart, she resigns from her candidacy for mayor of Monteverde and, without hesitation, confesses to Juan David that she leaves him free to continue in the race. Óscar cannot allow Carolina to leave Monteverde without first sealing her love; with his heart in his mouth, he gives her his engagement ring and proposes.
