At one point, the camera and probably cameraman appear to fall to the ground, Alex shouts Seth's name, and then the picture changes. Alex sitting with his back to a wall, looking stunned and telling the camera that "Seth is gone. …. Brian is gone, and Tim is, and Jay, and Sarah" are all gone, and that all he remembers is on the tape. He says that he is going to go home and that he is going to burn the tape. The audio and visual distortion return intermittently towards the end of this segment, and a hand-like shadow passes through Alex's head.
