Fabián blames Estrella for tearing his nets, so he decides to take all his catch. She stops him, but in her anger, she grabs one of his boxes and empties it on him. Estrella, upon learning that it was 'Tiburón' who cut the nets and that she will be joining Fabián's work crew, warns her that she does not know what kind of "shark" has just attacked. Perla begins to cry as she remembers the day she was the victim of 'Tiburón's' wickedness. Fabián shows his concern when he sees that Estrella and her family will be in charge of the fishing, she assures him that he should worry about his workers, since he has brought a traitor to his crew.
