The two twin brothers, now mortal enemies, the first of whom is Thanatos and the second his prisoner, clash and William-Erwin, fighting with Wenceslas in the Black Torrent, drinks poison. Having become the new Thanatos, William-Erwin Krantz chases his twin to the territory of the Mosaics forever. Chris Colorado, after these revelations, must leave his mother to go and free the Mosaics from their underground prison.
