Yamanashi to Charge Mt. Fuji Climbers ¥2,000 Toll (3x10)

Starting July, all climbers who ascend Mt. Fuji from the Yamanashi Prefecture side will be charged a 2,000-yen toll. It is part of a new set of measures aimed at encouraging proper climbing etiquette and preventing accidents.
