Carlos, a father of six, finds out he has cancer and turns to a surgeon to perform a ground-breaking new procedure referred to as “jaw-in-a-day.” Only performed in a handful of hospitals in the United States, this intensive surgery involves removing the jaw and using the fibula in its place.
