Japan Bans Trade of Invasive Crayfish and Turtles (2x14)

Starting June 1, Japan has banned the import and sale of red swamp crayfish and pond slider turtles, two non-native species that have been wreaking havoc on local ecosystems. Releasing them into the wild is also prohibited. Violators may face fines or imprisonment.
