George moves with his family to Kalochori, a quiet, seaside village. From the very first night, George's dreams are haunted by an invisible dark force that leads him to a strange boy, Dodo. Dodo has a rare gift that his relatives, the Dragon Gang, exploit to carry out their criminal plans. The "meeting" of the two boys has unexpected results, as it activates an invisible force that moves menacingly against them and awakens old enmities among the inhabitants of the small village. George accepts the challenge of the "Commandos" in his attempt to join their group and is driven to the Ashram outside the village, where he has an accident. While lying unconscious, he is put into astral projection and witnesses Dodos' agonizing escape from the Dragons.
