Carol Goodall and Gary Rogers' big day is all set. The pair met online, and a whirlwind romance followed. But then, after Carol has sold her house and given the proceeds to Gary to invest, he starts disappearing at weekends. Carol receives a suspicious text message: "Whatever you and Gary are playing at, it's not very nice." The sender tells Carol she is also engaged to Gary. After the pair contact the police, detectives and the women themselves join forces in an incredible plot to uncover that Gary is not who Carol thinks he is. His name's not Gary Rogers, and he's a serial conman with dozens of aliases, and he has to be stopped.
