Leprosy is a disease that carries a huge social stigma, since for many centuries the only approach taken towards people suffering from this disease was to forcibly isolate them from social life in strongholds. In this episode, we debate a little of the history surrounding this disease, discuss myths and present in a scientific and straightforward way what it is, how we can diagnose it and what is the treatment for this disease, which is another “neglected disease”.
